What started with a lifelong love for cooking and baking gradually became a passion for creating beautiful, delicious treats. As an Interior Designer, Chef Pratiksha Tayal has always seen baking as another form of art — where precision, creativity, and beautiful presentation come together.

Inspired by her love for baking and a desire to create better options for people with different dietary needs, CHOC & CHERRY was born.

Today, we create cakes, cookies, and other delightful bakes with a focus on taste, quality, and thoughtful ingredients — because everyone deserves to enjoy a beautiful celebration without missing out on the joy of dessert.

Frequently asked questions

Are CHOC & CHERRY bakes freshly baked?

Yes. Our bakes are prepared fresh everyday for everyday batches. That's the reason we take orders a day in advance to close the inventory for each day and only bake fresh orders specifically for that day.

Can the bakes get delivered earlier than the mentioned time slots?

No. Our bakes cannot get delivered earlier than the mentioned time slots because each day's batches are freshly baked. The proper cooling and setting of the fresh out-of-the-oven bakes require time and a precise check-management process (before being packed). That is the reason we open our delivery slots from 3pm every day.

What ingredients are used in Sugar Free & Gluten Free selection?

When you choose 'Sugar Free & Gluten Free' - The bake is completely omitted by Refined Sugar & All Purpose Flour. For sweetness, Sugar is replaced by Natural Date Syrup / Palm Sugar / Honey / Jaggery used in combination with Monk-fruit. For Gluten Free, we use Ragi / Almond / Oats / Sorghum / other Millet Flours.

What ingredients are used in Diabetes- Friendly selection?

Diabetes-Friendly is different from Sugar-Free & Gluten Free as certain sugar-free alternatives like Palm Sugar/ Date Syrup/ Honey /Jaggery can still spike the sugar levels for a diabetic person. Hence when you choose 'Diabetes-Friendly' , sugar is strictly replaced by premium grade 'Allulose' or 'Erythritol' only (depending on the kind of bakes) with a small amount blend of Monk-Fruit/Stevia.

For flours, we strictly use Almond flour with a combination of Oats flour only. We omit all millet flours (Ragi/Sorghum etc.) as millets contain substantial carbohydrates, so 'millet' does not 100% mean diabetes-friendly.

For chocolates, we use unsweetened cocoa and genuinely no-added-sugar/80%+ dark /90% bitter chocolates (*A regular 70% dark chocolate still contains a small amount of sugar)

For butter, we use a combination of unsalted Amul butter with neutral oil/nut butters/ little pure ghee to provide richness without adding carbs than using all-butter only. (*Nut butter such as Almond butter/ Pistachio butter / Walnuts extracts).

For Dairy, plain greek yogurt, cream cheese and unsweetened milk alternative (Almond Milk/Soy Milk) are used . We omit lactose-free for Diabetes-friendly as lactose-free milk is not sugar free and free of carbs.

Is there an option to get Lactose-Free bakes?

We particularly have not kept any Lactose-Free option for our bakes. Because, even if we replace the regular milk and yogurts with Lactose Free alternatives, still a good bake cannot be baked satisfactory without dairy ingredients like Butters and cream and rich chocolates that contain lactose and dairy.

Also, lactose-free does not mean dairy-free distinctively. Butters and creams contain lactose and milk proteins, so the bakes cannot be 100% lactose free. Perhaps, even after using lactose free alternatives, the bakes are not 100% appropriate for someone with a milk allergy.

Hence, no bakes are 100% lactose and dairy free. But we can always accommodate your special request to use Lactose-Free alternatives in your customised bakes.

Are the bakes EGGLESS?

Yes all are bakes are 100% EGGLESS.

Can you customise bakes according to dietary requirements?

Yes! Customisation is one of the key things we have at CHOC & CHERRY. Depending on the bake you choose, we can accommodate preferences like Gluten free , Sugar Free, Diabetes-Friendly, Lactose intolerance etc without compromising on the tastes. The dietary preferences are mentioned as separate add-ons under each bake item. You can also discuss it with us on WhatsApp directly after placing your order. It's that simple and easy.

How far in advance should I place order for custom bakes?

Because, even the Custom Bakes we bake fresh and largely on order, we still recommend placing order at least 3-5 days in advance, as we need time for a good planning of the selected flavours and the details of customisation with precision.

Do you accept same day orders?

Placing order on our website doesn't have any option for the same day delivery.

But, same-day orders are possible on a direct order placed on our WhatsApp chat only that too as a very special case, and it is subject to availability and mainly depends on the load of the orders for the day. We don't guarantee it but you can always check with us.

Do you make customised birthday and celebration cakes?

Yes, we make customised celebration cakes. For this, you can click on our 'Custom Bakes' button on top of the page. You can choose the cake you like to order and submit an enquiry request with details. We will connect on WhatsApp with the quote and you can confirm the order with a direct offline payment. The custom cake will get delivered on the confirmed date and time.

How should I store my CHOC & CHERRY bakes?

Storage depends on the product. Cookies to be kept in air tight container, no need to refrigerate. Cakes and cookie tins can be refrigerated after 24 hours and warmed up for 15 sec before consuming.

How long do the bakes stay fresh?

Our bakes are made without focusing on long commercial shelf life - they are meant to be enjoyed fresh. All our bakes stay yummy for at least 5-7 days from the day received. Every order you place, has the 'Freshly baked on' date and 'Yummy till' date mentioned.

Can I place bulk or gifting orders?

Yes! CHOC & CHERRY offers customised gifting and bulk orders for birthdays, festive occasions, celebrations and even corporate gifting. You can simply connect directly on WhatsApp chat or DM on Instagram for the enquiry and details.

Can I personalise the packaging of the bakes?

All our bakes come with premium packaging at first place. Personalised packaging is available for selected gifting and bulk orders only. But, messages and tags are available as add-on for every item when you place the order.

CHOC & CHERRY is a small-batch micro bakery built around the idea that a bake doesn't always have to be 'one-bake-fits-all' and no one should be left to cut on sweets when you age with diet-consciousness. We believe dietary preferences shouldn't mean compromising on taste. We combine indulgent flavours with thoughtful customisation, creating bakes around your taste, occasion and dietary needs without taking the joy out of desserts.

How does my order gets delivered after I place the order?

The order gets delivered on your selected time slot on the next confirmed day via Porter/Rapido. You will receive a notification that your order is dispatched via our delivery partner (which you can track yourself too). The delivery charges are calculated as per actuals (based on the distance) by the delivery partner app and paid directly by you to the delivery partner on the delivery of your order.

Are Delivery charges included in the order amount?

Can I cancel my order after placing the order ?

Yes, you can cancel the order on the same day of the placed order date but not on the delivery day (cancellation is usually accepted before the preparation of your order starts). You can check with us on WhatsApp directly. We are always available to accommodate your requests/cancellation if that's possible.
